Prestige is committed to secure transactions and fraud prevention. To protect customers and our business, some orders may require verification before they are processed or released.

Our Right to Verify, Hold, Cancel, or Refund

Prestige, at its own discretion, reserves the right to hold, cancel, or refund any order if we are unable to verify order details, suspect unauthorized activity, or identify unusual risk indicators. Verification may include confirming identity, billing and shipping details, business information, or purchaser authorization.

Address Changes After Purchase

For security, shipping address changes are restricted after an order is placed. If an address change is required, Prestige may require re-verification. In some cases, we may cancel and refund the order so it can be re-placed with the correct information.

Payment Methods and Release Timing

Credit Card: Card orders may be held for verification. Prestige may require billing details to match or request confirmation before release.

ACH Direct Debit (US Bank Debit): ACH payments can show as “pending” or “processing” while the banking network processes the transaction. Prestige may hold ACH orders for verification and will release orders once payment is confirmed as cleared by our processor. As an added fraud-prevention measure, ACH orders funded from individual (consumer) bank accounts may be held for up to 60 days before release, while ACH orders funded from business (commercial) bank accounts are typically released after 3 business days once cleared and verification is complete. Timeframes may vary based on order details and verification results.

Purchase Orders (PO): PO orders require written PO documentation and approval by Prestige. Prestige may request additional documentation (company details, tax exemption certificates if applicable, authorized purchaser confirmation). Orders may not ship until approval is completed.

Check Payments: Check-paid orders may be held until funds clear. Prestige will release orders once the payment has cleared. The timeframe for funds to clear can vary.

Payment Processing Fees

Prestige may charge payment processing fees depending on the payment method selected at checkout. These fees help cover payment acceptance costs and fraud prevention measures.

  • Credit Card: The credit card processing fee charged at checkout is non-refundable, except when the refund is due to a Prestige error or order cancellation by Prestige.
  • ACH Direct Debit: If a refund is approved for a customer-initiated return or cancellation, Prestige may deduct up to the ACH processing fee charged to us (typically up to $5).

Local Pickup Requirements

Local pickup is available by appointment. To release an order, Prestige requires:

  • A valid photo ID for the pickup person, and
  • The order confirmation (printed or digital).

 

If someone other than the purchaser will pick up the order, the purchaser must provide the authorized pickup contact name in advance. Prestige reserves the right to refuse release if pickup authorization cannot be verified.

Freight Confirmation and Charges

Some products require freight shipping. Freight charges are based on carrier pricing and delivery conditions, including (as applicable) delivery appointment, liftgate service, residential or limited-access delivery, inside delivery, jobsite delivery, and special handling.

Prestige reserves the right to confirm the final freight charges and delivery requirements prior to shipment. If the confirmed freight cost differs due to carrier pricing or delivery requirements, we will contact you for approval before shipping. You may choose to:

  1. approve and pay the confirmed freight charges,
  2. select an alternate delivery option, or
  3. cancel the order for a refund (subject to any applicable non-refundable processing fees listed in our Returns & Refunds policy).
