Description
The Self-Closing Guard Rail Safety Gate is designed to add controlled access to compatible Steel King Steel Guard and Armor Guard protective railing systems. It can be used as part of a new guard rail installation or retrofitted into an existing system, making it a practical option for warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and other industrial environments.
Manufactured to the same standards as Steel King guard rail systems, each gate uses heavy 11-gauge corrugated steel rails and is designed to fit a 48″ post-to-post center line within a protective railing system. The gate bolts to existing compatible guard rail posts and installs without cutting, welding, or drilling.
The gate ships assembled with the hinge assembly and gate stops in place to simplify installation. The swing direction can also be changed by removing a few bolts and flipping the gate as needed. Once opened, the gate swings to a 90-degree angle and automatically closes after passage is complete.
Available for both Steel Guard and Armor Guard systems, this self-closing gate helps improve access control around employee walkways, equipment protection areas, loading dock zones, production spaces, and other protected areas throughout a facility.
